In order to fix an issue in your Zattoo app on Xbox (One, Series X, Series S) please go through the following steps in order to get troubleshooting help. Try the next solution, if the issue remains. Please note that Xbox 360 and older is no longer supported and problems cannot be fixed.
1. Restart the app:
- Highlight the Zattoo app on the Home screen.
- Press the Menu button.
- Select Quit. (If it's not present, the app is not currently running - try the next solution in this case.)
- Re-launch the app by selecting it from the recently used tiles or from My games & apps.
Restart your console from the guide:
- Press the Xbox button.
- Go to System.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Turn off console.
Restart your console from the Power Center:
- Press and hold the Xbox button to open the Power Center.
- Select Restart console.
- Select Restart.
- Press the Xbox button.
- Go to Home.
- Select My games & apps.
- Select See all.
- Highlight the Zattoo app.
- Press the Menu button.
- Select Uninstall.
- Restart your Xbox.
- Reinstall the Zattoo app.
- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
- Go to System.
- Select Settings.
- Select Updates & downloads.
- Select Update console, if an update is available.
5. Check your internet connection in your network settings.
6. Use LAN connection instead of Wi-Fi
The application will not work properly if the Internet connection is not constantly stable. For stable transmission, especially on the big screen such as Smart TV, Nvidia Shield, Apple TV or Amazon Fire TV, we recommend a LAN connection (cable connection). WLAN can be affected by many factors that are not obvious at first sight and are much more prone to errors than a wired connection.
7. Reset your console to factory defaults:
For troubleshooting purposes, it may be necessary to completely erase and restore your Xbox:
- Press the Xbox button.
- Go to System.
- Select Settings.
- Select System.
- Select Console info.
- Select Reset console.
