How to change or update the payment method for your Zattoo subscription depends on your subscription status:
1) Your current subscription is still active, automatic renewal is still pending. In this case, you can change your payment method in the Zattoo account settings on the web. See 1) below, for instructions on how to update your payment method.
2) The automatic renewal has already failed or the subscription has already expired. In this case, you have to book a new subscription. See 2) below, for instructions on how to buy a new subscription.
Note: If your plan is with a partner company (e.g. iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, GMX, WEB.de, Salt), they manage your payments.
1) Change, add or update payment method for active subscription:
Auto-renewal must be enabled.
- Log into your Zattoo account on the web: Login
- Click Settings.
- Click Manage my account.
- Go to Subscriptions > Select the subscription for which you want to change the payment method.
- Click on Add payment method and enter the payment details correctly.
Your new payment method will be stored and you can choose which of the payment methods shall be used for future renewals.
2) Change or update payment method when subscription has expired or auto-renewal has failed:
You need to buy a new subscription in order to update the payment method and continue with your subscription:
- Log into your Zattoo account on the web: Login
- Click on Upgrade.
- Select your product > Continue.
- Select 1 months or 12 months (if available).
- Select your payment method and click on Buy now.
- Enter your payment details correctly.
