The Zattoo app is available for download in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Outside of these countries, the Zattoo app cannot be installed.
Please note:
Not all devices, platforms and operating systems are supported. If your device or its software version is not compatible, the Zattoo app will not appear in the store and cannot be installed.
If you are located in Germany, Austria or Switzerland and are using a compatible device, but the app does not appear in the search results or cannot be installed, please go through the following steps one by one. You can skip any steps that do not apply to your device.

1. Check availability in the correct country
The Zattoo app is only available on compatible devices in the following countries:
Germany
Austria
Switzerland
If your device or your store account is set to a different country, the app will not be displayed.
Please note:
Installation from outside these countries is not possible — even if the store region is correctly set to Germany, Austria or Switzerland.
2. Check your internet connection
Make sure your device is connected to the internet.
Check whether Wi-Fi or LAN is active.
If possible, test a different internet connection.
3. Check date and time settings
Incorrect date or time settings can prevent access to app stores.
Make sure date and time are set automatically.
4. Check available storage space
If there is not enough storage space available, the app cannot be installed.
Check your available storage.
Delete unused apps or files if necessary.
5. Update your device software
Outdated software may prevent apps from being displayed or installed.
Check for available software updates.
Install updates and restart your device afterwards.
6. Check store country and region settings
The content shown in the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Microsoft Store or Amazon Store depends on the selected country version.
Please check:
Your store account is set to Germany, Austria or Switzerland.
The selected country matches your actual physical location.
If the country is set incorrectly, the Zattoo app will not be displayed.

7. Check your payment method
Some stores require a valid payment method.
The registered payment method must be issued in the same country in which you want to download the app (Germany, Austria or Switzerland).
8. Check store restrictions or parental controls
Active age restrictions or family settings may prevent the Zattoo app from appearing in the store.
Please check:
Whether download or purchase restrictions are enabled
Whether your account is part of a family group
Whether age ratings are filtering apps in the store

Temporarily disable any restrictions and check the store again.
9. Check Smart Hub country/region settings (Samsung)
On Samsung Smart TVs, app visibility in the Smart Hub also depends on the selected region.
Please check:
Is the Smart Hub country set to Germany, Austria or Switzerland?
Depending on the TV model, the steps to change the region may vary. If necessary, contact the manufacturer.
10. Clear store cache (Android devices and Fire TV)
If you are using an Android smartphone, tablet, Android TV or Fire TV device, a corrupted store cache may cause apps not to appear.

11. Restart your device
A restart can resolve temporary store or connection issues.
Turn off the device completely.
Wait at least 30–60 seconds.
Turn it back on.
Open the store again and search for Zattoo.
12. Contact support
If the Zattoo app still does not appear or cannot be installed, please contact us via the contact form and provide the following information:
Device model
Installed software version
The country where you are trying to install the app
Store country/region setting
Your Zattoo email address
Exact error message (if available)
This information helps us analyse the issue more precisely.
