1. How much streaming allowance is available with Zattoo Free?
The monthly streaming allowance with Zattoo Free is:
- Germany: 30 hours per calendar month
- Switzerland: 10 hours per calendar month
This limit applies to use on Smart TVs and streaming devices.
2. Does the limit also apply to mobile use?
No. This limit does not apply to mobile use.
On the web and in the iOS and Android apps, Zattoo Free can be used without any limit.
3. When is the streaming allowance reset?
The streaming allowance applies per calendar month.
At the beginning of each new month, your monthly streaming allowance is reset in full.
4. What happens when the allowance is used up?
If your streaming allowance on Smart TVs or streaming devices has been used up, you can upgrade to a paid subscription at any time.
With an upgrade, your streaming allowance becomes unlimited.
5. Important note for use on TV devices
Please close the Zattoo app on your TV or streaming device before turning off the screen.
Otherwise, the stream may continue running in the background and keep using your streaming allowance, even if the screen has already been switched off.
