1. Supported regions of use
Zattoo is not available worldwide. Which channels and features you can use depends on your region of use.
Zattoo is regularly available in:
Germany
Austria
Switzerland
The region of use is the country in which your Zattoo account was registered.
If you are outside your region of use, restrictions or error messages may occur.
2. Using Zattoo abroad
Under certain conditions, you can also use your paid Zattoo subscription temporarily abroad.
The following applies:
Use abroad is limited to 90 days per trip.
Permanent use outside your region of use is not possible.
Regional specifics:
Germany: use within the EU. In addition, use is also possible in Norway and Iceland, as well as in certain EU overseas territories. These include, among others, the Canary Islands, the Azores, Madeira, and certain French overseas territories.
Austria: use only within the EU.
Switzerland: outside Switzerland, only recordings can be streamed. Live TV, Replay, Restart and on-demand are not available.
3. Requirements for using Zattoo abroad
To use Zattoo abroad, the following requirements must be met:
an active paid subscription
the app must already have been downloaded at home
use within the permitted countries
a stable internet connection
no VPN, proxy, hosting or Private Relay
Zattoo Free cannot be used abroad.
4. Detailed overview of using Zattoo abroad by account and subscription
With a paid subscription, Zattoo can be used temporarily abroad. Which content is available depends on your region of use.

Important notes:
Access abroad is limited to 90 days per trip.
Renewed use abroad requires that Zattoo has been used again in the home region in the meantime.
With Smart HD, use in the mobile apps (iOS and Android) as well as on the web is only possible to a limited extent: RTL and ProSiebenSat.1 channels are not available there.
Error messages may appear if one of the requirements for use is not met.

6. Change the country of use
If you have moved permanently and want to use your account in another country (Germany, Austria or Switzerland) in the future, please contact our support team.
Important:
The country of use cannot be changed in the account settings.
A change is only possible in the case of a permanent change of residence.
Subscriptions, prices and channels depend on the country of use and will change accordingly.
