Table of contents
1. How to set a password
Go to Forgot password.
Enter the Google, Facebook, Amazon or Apple email address linked to your Zattoo account.
Make sure it is spelled correctly and does not contain extra characters, such as spaces before or after the email address.Open the email Reset your Zattoo password in your inbox or spam folder.
Click the link Restore password in the email.
Create your new password in the next step.
Once you have set a new password, you can use it for future logins.
Signing in with Google, Facebook, Amazon or Apple will still remain available even after you have set a password.
2. Difference between @gmail.com and @googlemail.com
Please note:
Our system distinguishes between @gmail.com and @googlemail.com.
When signing in or requesting a password reset, make sure you use exactly the same email ending that was used when your account was registered.
3. Special case: Apple “Hide My Email”
If you created your account with Apple and used the “Hide My Email” feature, please contact our support team.
Please send us the following via our contact form:
the randomly generated email address shown in the Zattoo app under Account
the email address that should be stored in your Zattoo account instead
4. Email address no longer active
If your Zattoo account was created using Google, Facebook, Amazon or Apple and the email address linked to your Zattoo account is no longer active, no longer exists, or you no longer have access to that mailbox, you will not be able to use the “Forgot password” function.
The reason is that the password reset email can no longer be delivered.
In this case, please contact our support team via our contact form.
To help us review your case, please send us, if possible:
the email address currently linked to your Zattoo account
the new email address that should be used instead
