With Restart, you can watch a live programme that is already in progress directly from the beginning.
The availability of this feature depends on your country, subscription and channel.

1. What is Restart?
With Restart, you can start a programme that is already live from the beginning with one click.
If Restart is available for a programme, the corresponding arrow icon is shown in the programme guide or directly in the player.
If Restart is not available for a specific channel or content, the icon is not displayed or greyed out.
2. Which subscriptions include Restart?
The feature is available with the following subscriptions:
Germany: Smart HD, Premium and Ultimate
Austria: Premium and Ultimate
Switzerland: Premium and Ultimate
If one of these subscriptions is active on your account, Restart can also be used with additional channel packages – where available. You can find more information in section 6.
Restart is not available with Zattoo Free.
3. Restart in Germany
In Germany, Restart is available with Smart HD, Premium and Ultimate.
Please note:
For licensing reasons, Restart is not available for every channel and not for every programme.
On certain channels or content, fast-forwarding may be restricted.
If Restart is not available for a programme, the icon is not shown or is greyed out.
4. Restart in Austria
In Austria, Restart is available with Premium and Ultimate.
Please note:
For licensing reasons, Restart is not available for every channel and not for every programme.
On certain channels or content, fast-forwarding may be restricted.
If Restart is not available for a programme, the icon is not shown or is greyed out.
5. Restart in Switzerland
Restart is only available with Premium and Ultimate. The feature generally available for the channels included in these subscriptions. Zattoo Free does not include Restart.
Please note:
Restart can only be used within Switzerland. Outside Switzerland, it is not available for licensing reasons.
6. Restart with additional channel packages
Restart is only available with additional channel packages if the required base subscription is also active on your account.
Please note:
Not every channel package supports Restart.
Not every channel within a package supports Restart.
On certain channels or content, fast-forwarding within Restart is restricted or not possible.
If Restart is not available for a channel or content, the icon is not displayed or is greyed out.
7. Important limitations for Restart
Please note in general:
Restart is not available with Zattoo Free.
Licensing restrictions may apply.
Not every programme can be started from the beginning with Restart.
On certain channels or content, fast-forwarding within Restart is not possible.
- For Swiss users: Restart can only be used within Switzerland. Outside Switzerland, it is not available for licensing reasons.
