1. Why do my recordings have a deletion date?
Different retention periods apply to recordings depending on the country and your subscription.
Please note:
Recordings may have a limited storage period.
Once the retention period ends, the recording is automatically deleted.
The displayed deletion date shows how long the recording will remain available.
Switzerland
In Switzerland, the following generally applies:
With Premium, recordings can be stored for 2 years from the recording date.
With Ultimate, recordings can also be stored for 2 years from the recording date.
Germany and Austria
In Germany and Austria, the following generally applies:
With Ultimate, recordings can be stored for 2 years from the recording date.
After 2 years, recordings are automatically deleted.
On some channels, recordings are only stored temporarily:
The recording is automatically deleted once the availability period has expired.
2. Can I store my recordings permanently?
Permanent storage of recordings is not possible in every country.
In Germany and Austria, permanent storage is not possible.
In Switzerland, permanent storage is only possible if Recordings Plus is active in addition to Premium or Ultimate. Without Recordings Plus, the regular storage and deletion periods apply.
Please also note:
Recordings cannot be downloaded in order to store them permanently.
Offline use of recordings is not possible.
3. Recordings Plus in Switzerland
With Recordings Plus:
your recordings are stored permanently
there is no deletion period
you can store 250 additional recordings
Recordings Plus can only be used together with a suitable base subscription (Premium or Ultimate).
