In this article, you’ll learn how to upgrade your current Zattoo subscription to a higher plan (e.g. Ultimate).
Please note:
The upgrade must be completed on the same account your current subscription is linked to.
You must upgrade through the same provider you originally used (e.g. Zattoo website, Apple, Google Play).

1. Important information about upgrades
Once your upgrade is completed successfully:
your previous subscription will automatically end
your account will immediately switch to the new plan
Exception: Amazon subscriptions
For Amazon, cancellation is required before upgrading (see section 5).
2. Upgrade if you subscribed directly via Zattoo
If you purchased your subscription directly via Zattoo:
Go to www.zattoo.com/login
Log into your account
Click on Upgrade
Select your desired plan (e.g. Ultimate)
Click Continue
Choose your payment method
Confirm
Your new plan will be available immediately, and your previous subscription will automatically end.
3. Upgrade via Apple
If you subscribed via Apple:
Open the Zattoo app on your iPhone or iPad
Log in
Open the menu
Tap Upgrade
Select your desired plan
Confirm the purchase via the App Store
Your account will switch to the new plan immediately after confirmation.
Note:
Ultimate is only available as a monthly subscription via the Apple App Store.
If you would like to subscribe to an annual plan, you can purchase Ultimate directly through your Zattoo account on the website. To do so, you must first cancel your current Apple subscription and wait until the end of the current billing period. You can then subscribe via www.zattoo.com.
4. Upgrade via Google Play
If you subscribed via Google Play:
Open the Zattoo app
Log in
Open the menu
Select Upgrade
Choose your desired plan
Confirm the purchase via your Google account
Your new subscription will be activated immediately.
Note:
Ultimate is only available as a monthly subscription via Google Play.
If you would like to subscribe to an annual plan, you can purchase Ultimate directly through your Zattoo account on the website. To do so, you must first cancel your current Google Play subscription and wait until the end of the current billing period. You can then subscribe via www.zattoo.com.
5. Upgrade via Amazon
For Amazon subscriptions, the process differs.
An automatic upgrade is not possible.
You must:
Cancel your current subscription in your Amazon account
Wait until the current billing period ends
Subscribe again to the desired plan via Amazon
If you do not cancel your current subscription first, both subscriptions will run in parallel.
6. Subscriptions managed by other providers
If your subscription is managed by a TV, internet or mobile provider, upgrading may not be possible.
