In this article, you’ll learn how to switch your current Zattoo subscription to a lower plan (e.g. from Ultimate to Premium).

1. Important information about downgrades
When downgrading:
Your current (higher) subscription remains active until the end of the already paid billing period.
The lower plan starts automatically after your current subscription expires.
The exact process depends on where you originally subscribed.
2. Downgrade if subscribed directly via Zattoo
If you purchased your subscription directly via Zattoo:
Go to www.zattoo.com/login
Log in to your account
Click on Upgrade
Select the lower plan you would like to switch to
Confirm your selection
Important:
Your current subscription remains active until the end of its billing period.
The new lower plan starts automatically afterwards.
For technical reasons, payment may be processed immediately.
However, the new plan will only begin after your higher plan expires.
3. Downgrade via Apple
If your subscription was purchased via Apple, you can switch to a lower plan directly in the Zattoo app.
Steps:
Open the Zattoo app on your iPhone or iPad
Log in
Open the menu
Select the lower plan you would like to switch to
Important:
Your current subscription remains active until the end of the billing period.
The new lower plan starts automatically afterwards.
No separate cancellation is required.
The downgrade may be confirmed immediately, even though the new plan begins later.
4. Downgrade via Google Play
For subscriptions purchased via Google Play, a direct downgrade is not possible.
To change your plan:
Cancel your current subscription directly in Google Play.
Wait until the current billing period ends.
Subscribe again to the lower plan.
You can resubscribe:
via Google Play
or directly through the Zattoo website using the available payment methods
5. Subscriptions managed by other providers
If your subscription is managed by a TV, internet, or mobile provider, a downgrade may not be possible directly via Zattoo.
