Delay during live broadcasts

When watching live TV on Zattoo, there is a delay of approximately 10 seconds or more, depending on the platform. 

This delay occurs because the TV signal has to be processed, compressed and buffered briefly before it can be streamed over the internet. This helps keep the stream stable, even if there are small fluctuations in the connection.

The exact delay may vary depending on the device. It generally affects the entire channel lineup in SD, HD and Full HD, as well as all subscription models and Zattoo Free.

To keep the delay as low as possible, we recommend:

• a stable internet connection
• the latest version of the Zattoo app or browser
• the latest version of your operating system
