To use Zattoo properly on your Android device, make sure that both the Zattoo app and your Android system are up to date.
Follow the steps below in the given order and only move on to the next step if the issue persists.

1. Important note on Android versions
The current Zattoo app requires Android 7 or later. Older Android versions are no longer supported. Issues on unsupported systems cannot be resolved.
2. Fully close the Zattoo app
Fully close the Zattoo app.
Close all other apps running in the background.
Then reopen the Zattoo app.
3. Clear app cache and app data
Open the Settings on your device.
Go to Apps or Apps & notifications
(menu names may vary depending on the device).Select Zattoo TV.
Tap Force stop.
Go to Storage.
Tap Clear cache, then Clear data.
4. Reinstall the Zattoo app
Uninstall the app: Settings → Apps → Zattoo TV → Uninstall
Restart your device.
Reinstall the app from the Google Play Store.
Then sign in again.
5. Reduce the bitrate in the app
Open the Zattoo app.
Go to Settings.
Select Bitrate settings → Mobile/Wi-Fi → Low.
Fully close the app and restart it.
6. Check for system updates
Check in your device settings whether an Android system update is available.
Install available updates and restart the device.
7. Disable VPN, proxy or similar services
Zattoo may be blocked if your IP address is masked or routed.
Please check:
whether a VPN app, VPN profile or proxy is active
fully disable these services
restart your device
test the connection again
8. Disable ad blockers or content filters
If the stream does not start or stops unexpectedly:
disable any active ad blockers, DNS filters or content filters
also check security or privacy apps
restart the Zattoo app afterwards
9. Check network and connection
Check your internet connection and network:
Disconnect from Wi-Fi and reconnect.
If possible, test the 5 GHz band on your Wi-Fi.
Test a different Wi-Fi network or a mobile data connection if possible.
Check whether other devices on the same network can stream without issues.

Please note:
Public or hotel Wi-Fi networks may restrict or block streaming.
These networks often use firewalls, filters or bandwidth limits.
Mobile data connections may also be limited depending on coverage or your plan.
Also make sure that:
no other apps or devices are using a lot of bandwidth at the same time.
no hotspot or restricted network is being used.
